Lewes Chamber of Commerce- A very useful site when planning your visit to Lewes, with lots of information about local accommodations, restaurants, and shopping.
Delaware Tourism Office- The official Delaware state guide to tourism, where you'll find all the infomation you'll need about what's going on throughout Delaware!
The WWW Virtual Library: Lighthouses, Lightships & Lifesaving Stations.- This is a list of the world's lightships, with links to their websites, if available.
United States Coast Guard- The official website, containing vast amounts of info and photos.
Jack's Joint- Great narratives of life aboard a lightship from one who was there!
U.S.C.G. Lightship Sailors Association- The largest "official" group of lightship sailors offers a wealth of first-hand knowledge.
Night Beacon- An online picture tour of lighthouses, lightships, and life-saving, including a detailed article on the history of U.S. lightships.
The Delaware River and Bay Lighthouse Foundation- All about the work a local group of dedicated volunteers is doing to restore the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse, among other things.
The United States Lighthouse Society- A non-profit historical and educational organization incorporated to educate, inform, and entertain those who are interested in America's lighthouses, past and present.
Frying Pan Lightship (LV115)- One of the few lightships left in private ownership, now used commercially for some fun times.
Columbia Lightship and Museum- History of the Lightship Columbia (WLV604), now integrated into a large maritime museum.

The MERR Institute- The Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute, Inc. (MERR) is a local non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of marine mammals and sea turtles.
The National Data Buoy Center- Weather and marine navigational conditions as reported from Buoy Station #44009, positioned at the Lightship Overfalls station at sea. Information very useful for boaters.
