At this event, kids will receive an introduction to fishing, learn how to fish from the public docks on the Lewes Canal, bait a hook, retrieve a fish gently, fishing etiquette, and learn of resources available relative to paddle sports, beach rentals and fishing from CHSP pier. Knots are used for sailing, rock climbing, camping, trucking, boating, fishing, surgery, decorating and many more different activities. They can be made from a variety of different materials such as rope, cord, twine, yarn, and thread. Participants will each receive a 3’ piece of sailboat line to learn knots and to take home to practice
