At this event, kids will receive an introduction to fishing, learn how to fish from the public docks on the Lewes Canal, bait a hook, retrieve a fish gently, fishing etiquette, and learn of resources available relative to paddle sports, beach rentals and fishing from CHSP pier. Target audience: kids 5yrs to 13 Casting contest

Knots are used for sailing, rock climbing, camping, trucking, boating, fishing, surgery, decorating and many more different activities. They can be made from a variety of different materials such as rope, cord, twine, yarn, and thread. Participants will each receive a 3’ piece of sailboat line to learn knots and to take home to practice
