Overfalls and Lewes Historical Society 2nd Annual Halloween Pirate Parade

Ahoy! The Lightship Overfalls is being taken over by Lewes Pirates this Halloween Season!!

Interested young buccaneers and Halloween goblins will assemble at the Lewes Historical Society campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street, on Sunday October 27, at 3:00pm. Swashbuckling escorts will lead the parade of pirates as they haunt the town on their way to the Lightship Overfalls at 219 Pilottown Road, where they will search to capture the hidden treasure to share among the band of pirates.  Costumes encouraged.  Join us our second year of this new Lewes tradition for young children.  Special thanks to Lewes Historical Society, the Zwaanendael Museum and the Crew of Red Hat Society Chapter Pirates of the Delaware Bay for their support and participation.

This event is recommended for young children of walking age up through 6th grade along with escorted infants and toddlers.  Parents are welcome to observe, escort and assist as needed.  Refreshments will be offered.    (Weather dependent)
